Fees and Insurance:
Fees are generally discussed and decided upon during the initial no-fee consultation. They can vary depending on the type and frequency of treatment. Consideration is given to insurance coverage, and personal/financial circumstances. Students welcome.
Payment methods accepted: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express
Insurance: I am an in-network provider for Aetna and session fees will be covered above and beyond your co-pay. Please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance ID card before our initial meeting to determine the extent of your coverage, and to learn what your co-pay will be.
I am also an in-network provider for United Healthcare, Oxford and Oscar. Depending on your coverage you may be required to obtain authorization before seeking outpatient behavioral health services. Please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance ID card before our initial consultation to clarify this process.
Other Insurance: Therapy may be covered in-full or in-part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Having “out-of-network” benefits as part of your coverage gives you the opportunity to see a therapist of your choice.
To obtain information about the extent and restrictions of your "out-of-network" benefits please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance ID and carefully check your coverage by asking the following questions:
